I only stumbled across Master Weixing’s work recently while browsing around on Pinterest. His body of work, his accomplishments and contributions to the art of watercolor in China are incredible.
I once heard a photographer say; “Photography is the art of capturing light.†I believe Master Weixing captures light beautifully with his paintings and the above featured piece is no exception. You can almost feel the warm rays of sunshine against this man’s face.
