And now for something a little different here on The Watercolor Gallery this Friday morning. Rattle, by jennadominyart here on Tumblr, is a bit different but also very refreshing.
The skeleton is both accurate and detailed while the colors seem to be just the opposite. The color portrays motion or, perhaps, something that happened in the past. The weight of the bird is obvious yet subtle. The flesh-edge of the color seems remarkably deliberate (see: the beak) while having the appearance of randomness.
Different? Yes. Still worth of our attention and inspirational? Absolutely.
