La “Jeanne d’Arc” (or, The “Joan of Arc”) by Christian Couteau in TONNEINS, France.
I don’t know if the story behind this boat is for real, even if it isn’t it is pretty remarkable, that Couteau travelled much of the world aboard this vessel visiting places like Tokyo, Kobe and Nara, Hong-Kong, Djakarta, Noumea, Honolulu and Pearl Harbor, Papeete, Bora-Bora, Pascuas Island, Valparaiso and the list goes on and on.
What a privilege.
What I like about this is it appears to be as foggy as a memory is. I’m sure Couteau could draw this boat from memory – but with how much detail? This boat reminds me of a memory of a boat.
