Down to the beach by Rod Buckle in England.
This is really nice. Sometimes you don’t get things the way you want the first time. In this painting Buckle wanted to recapture the scene in a slightly different way then he did the first time. The first painting is excellent, in many ways better than the second, but it wasn’t how Buckle wanted to portray the scene. So he did it again and shared both works with us.
I think it is great to see that other people do this too because I’m on my third iteration of a particular painting that I’m doing and each time the entire mood is different.
