Pelican Thief by Daniel Egnus in Milano, Italy.
There is a lot to see in this piece by Egnus. Details here and there make it impossible not to stare at it for a length of time. Why only the one swing? Why all of the detail on the underside of the ride while other places get none?
Truly an inspirational piece for me. Oh, and this is just my guessing here, but the Roman feel of the art here presumably means that Egnéus did this work while in Rome. While he’s in Milano now he was born in Sweden and he spent many years in Prague, London, Berlin, Bologna and of course Rome.
