Poured watercolor fascinates me and Leslie Redhead sort of has a monopoly of the features using this technique on The Watercolor Gallery. I think the thing that fascinates me most about a poured watercolor is the planning that goes into just how the painting will be laid out and how each layer is applied separately in your head beforehand.

I’ve never attempted a poured watercolor. Perhaps I’ll muster the boldness to do so soon.
